Frequently asked questions
What is an endless folding card?
An endless card, or endless folding card, is an advertising medium made of cardboard, with offset or digital printing. At first glance, it appears to be a portrait or landscape format postcard, but can be opened lengthways, then landscape, then again lengthways - thus showing four successively revolving advertising-spaces that continue as parts of an "everted form". The first generation of endless folding cards was held together by stiff paper hinges. In 2009, Touchmore introduced "logoloop" - a version that uses a foil-made hinge that folds without resistance. It is often used as an advertising medium to explain intangible products or to tell a story.

Design Process
What does the design process involve?
- Register for our Create-Tool.
- Download logoloop® layout templates in the appropriate size.
- Design your template, for instance using InDesign (CS 3 or newer version).
- Upload your file to the Create Tool.
- The print data supplied will then be automatically checked (resolution, font sizes, bleed, etc.).
- Our tool then takes a few minutes to generate a 3D animation using your print data. A link to the animation can then be sent to partners or customers with just a few clicks. By the way, you can upload your print data as many times as you like to optimise your design.
- Once you have perfected your design, approve it for production in the Create Tool. However, this does not mean you have placed an order yet! Approval only confirms that the print data is correct.

How many sides does logoloop® have?
- Regardless of the format, each logoloop® can be folded exactly four times. Please note that two elements from page two remain visible on page three. Further details can be found in our design guide.
- To gain a better understanding of logoloop, we recommend handling a sample yourself. Our free samples can be ordered here.
Can I create the print data using software other than InDesign?
Yes, for instance with Illustrator. However, the output format must always be PDF/X-3:2002. Other technical points you’ll have to observe can be found here.
Can I use the 3D animation from the Create Tool in a presentation?
Yes, you can play the animation on our website via the link or create a video file of it with a screen capture. We recommend you hand out several samples of logoloop® during your presentation to aid understanding and increase anticipation for your own design.
Why can I see a streak or gap on pages three and four of my animation?
- For production-related reasons, pages three and four of a logoloop® feature a gap of 0.6 mm in width along the horizontal and vertical cutting lines. This is also shown in the animation to provide a realistic idea of what logoloop® will look like once finished.
- If at all possible, you should therefore avoid placing words or important details of your design to run along or over this line. In addition, letters should be positioned with a clearance of at least one millimetre from the cutting lines.
Can you create the layout for me?
- Yes, we’d be glad to. Call us on ++49 (0) 2191 9837 0
